Taxi
A standard taxi would cost about JPY 7000+ one way and the journey would take about 20 minutes. A jumbo taxi would cost about JPY 11,000+.
There's a taxi stand right outside Iiyama station or we could arrange a taxi to pick you up.
Rental car
Nissan car rental company (Iiyama ekimae) is located across from Iiyama station.
Reservations are recommended.
Nozawa Liner bus
Nozawa Liner bus is located right outside Iiyama station and the signs are well-posted in Japanese and English.
If you’re taking the Nozawa Liner bus, please alight at the last stop – Chuo Bus terminal.
View Hotel Shimataya is a 4-minute uphill walk from there.

Board the local Nagaden bus from outside Iiyama station and alight at the last stop, Nozawa Grand Hotel.
